The ring of charos is an interesting and useful item for members. It is obtained upon completion of the Creature Of Fenkenstrain quest. When you wear the ring you are able to enter the werewolf agility course which can be found in the swamps of Morytania, just south-east of Canifis. During the Garden of Tranquility quest, your ring will be invoked with a magic that allows you to manipulate certain non playing characters.

As mentioned above, a special power in the ring of charos is revealed after you have completed the Garden of Tranquility quest. This special power allows you to charm many non-playing characters (NPCs) around RuneScape into reducing costs of certain services. You can also charm some of these people into paying you more for your service, or into allowing you to choose a certain item as a reward, rather than receiving it randomly. Below is a full list of NPCs you are able to charm, as well as the result of the charm.

If you lose the ring in either of its two states, just pickpocket Dr. Fenkenstrain in his castle north-west of Canifis to attain it again.

	Blast Furnace Foreman	Allows players under level 60 to use the Blast Furnace for 1,250gp every 10 minutes instead of 2,500gp.
	Brundt	Allows you to change your Fremennik name to a new random name.
	Cart Conductor	You only need to pay 50gp to buy a ticket from White Wolf mountain to Keldagrim , or 75gp from the Dwarven Mines to Keldagrim
	Customs Officer	Allows you to travel to and from Karamja for free from Port Sarim and Ardougne.
	Cyreg Paddlehorn	Allows you to travel from Mort'ton to The Hollows (where you attain bark for splitbark armour) for free.
	Dwarven Boatman	Banks the gold ores you mine in the Arzinian Gold Mine for a cost of only 3 ores compared to the usual 5.
	Dwarven Ferryman	Allows you to cross the river to the mines for free near Keldagrim instead of paying 2gp
	Fossegrimen	Charms the being into thinking a bass is a small shark, consequently allowing you to recharge your lyre without needing a raw shark.
	Gertrude	Allows you to choose what color of kitten you would like to recieve instead of random color.
	Ghost Captain	Pay only 10 Ecto-Tokens to travel to Dragontooth Island instead of 25.
	Kathy Corkat	Allows you to travel to the Piscatoris Fishing Colony for free.
	Rug Merchant	Allows you to fly for 100gp and fly for 75gp if you have completed The Feud quest and at least started the Rogue Trader minigame.
	Trader Crewmember	Allows you to travel on a chartered ship for half the price you would normally have to pay.
