Requirements

Quest: Witch's House.
Item: 2 Tarromin, 2 Water-Filled Vials, Seed Dibber, Watering Can, Leather Gloves, Any Woodcutting Axe.
Other: Ability to defeat Glod (Level-138).
Recommendations
Item: Armour, Food, 1-2 Prayer Potions.
Other: Suggested to use an agility pot, or a summer pie to boost your needed agility levels.
"Once upon a time in a land far, far away..." Sylas, a collector of items both wondrous and unusual seeks out the latest additions to his trove with a somewhat unusual prize for the finder.
Terrors and towers await; fierce battles with giant beasts; striding boldly to rescue a dwarf in distress! Not a quest for the meek or faint-hearted, prepare yourself for a feast of fairytale fun with rewards a-plenty! The Brothers Grimm could never have foretold a tale such as this...
Part 1:
The Wondrous Artefacts
Step 1
Talk to Sylas.
Collect Griffin feather.
Find out about the Dwarf's helm.
Talk to Sylas in Taverley (Picture). After a long talk about beans Sylas will tell you to get a Griffin feather from a griffin named Grimgnash on White Wolf mountain. Head to the north-east part of White Wolf Mountain and talk to Grimgnash. Be careful not to anger Grimgnash as it will hit you and deal a lot of damage. Tell Grimgnash about death and destruction, An insane Skeleton, leaving a dwarf to die, and the dwarf burying bones.
Once Grimgnash is asleep go ahead and grab a feather from the pile (Picture). Now return to Sylas and he will take the feather and tell you to get Rupert the Beard's Helmet. Ask about the helmet and Sylas will tell you that Rupert lives in a house between Goblin Village and Ice Mountain.
Once you get there, climb over the small wall and talk through the drain pipe. Rupert will talk back. Talk again and Rupert will tell you to climb up. Now climb up on the beard to the top floor. Talk to Rupert again and he will tell you to talk to the princess.
Go down to the north side of the building and talk to Miarzrqa. Say "Second cousin twice removed" to get the conversation going. She will ask you to get her pendant, and will also give you a key.
Part 2:
Hunt for the Pendant
Step 2
Enter the Witches House.
Make 2 "Shrink-me-quick" potions.
Retrieve the Pendant.
Items needed: 2 Tarromin, 2 Water-Filled Vials.
Head to the Witch's house back in Taverley. Enter and go down to the basement. Then go through the gate with your leather gloves on (Picture). Search the music stand to get the music sheet (Picture). Play the notes from the sheet on the piano and the compartment will open (Picture). The notes are: E-F-E-D-C-A-E-G-A. Remember to play upper and lower notes.
Once you search it you will get a "Shrinking recipe" (Picture), a "To-do list" (Picture), and two "Shrunk Ogleroots", Make two "Shrink-me-quick" potions by following the directions from the "Shrinking recipe". Go to the mouse hole and drink a "Shrink-me-quick" potion (Picture). You will instantly go through the hole. Follow the path and before the end go up the nails.
Go south-west and and climb up these nails also (Picture). Turn around and go up more nails (Picture). Now follow the path north-east and climb up some more nails (Picture). Go north a little and down these nails (Picture) and take the pendant. Now head back to the Miarzrqa and return the pendant. The princess will release Rupert who will give you the helmet (Picture). Now head back to Sylas.
Part 3:
The Beanstalk and the Golden Goblin
Step 3
Plant a Beanstalk.
Defeat Glod and retrieve the Golden Goblin.
Give the Golden Goblin to Sylas.
Chop down the Beanstalk.
Items needed: Armour, high healing Food, 1-2 Prayer potion, and a Super Set.
Sylas takes the helmet gives you some magic beans. After a talk, Sylas wants you to get a golden goblin, go south-east to the magic bean patch and plant them (Picture). After you water the beans, a beanstalk will appear (Picture).
Climb up the beanstalk and kill Glod (Level-138). Beware, however, as Glod can drain your prayer. After you kill Glod, it will drop two big bones, an uncut ruby, an uncut sapphire, a watering can (4) and a golden goblin. Take the goblin back to Sylas who tells you to cut down the beanstalk.
Go back to the beanstalk and use the "Shrink-me-quick" potion on it (Picture). Use your axe to cut down the beanstalk (Picture), you can use an Axeman's Folly to boost your woodcutting by one level if need be. Go back to Sylas one more time to receive your reward.
Q: I've lost my Ogleroots, how do I get them back?
A: You need to kill the witch's Experiments to get them again. |
