Why do all of the crops continue to fail? When will the Growing Pains finally end? What has happened to the Fairy Queen and all of her loyal subjects? What is that crafty old Godfather really up to?

Part 1:
My Queen: Where Art Thou?

Step 1
Talk to Martin, Draynor Village.
Talk to Fairy Nuff, Zanaris.
Search debris for Nuff's certificate.
Keep this with you.

Items needed: Dramen Staff.

Talk to Martin in Draynor Village square (Picture). He tells you that the crops are still not growing. You tell him (to his disbelief) of your saga with the fairies. The conversation with Martin may end at this point. If it does, just try talking to him again in about 15 minutes.

After a while Martin will tell you that the people are becoming upset due to the lack of food. Since you are responsible for the lack of crops, it is your responsibility to correct the problem, so head off to Zanaris with your Dramen staff.

Go to the area where Fairy Nuff (who is north of the Bank) was taking care of the Fairy Queen. You find the area ransacked. Search all of the debris until you find Fairy Nuff's certificate. Search the certificate and you will find a note written on the back in a foreign alphabet. Always carry the certificate with you or else you will not be able to use the fairy rings to get to the queen.

Step 2
Talk to Godfather, in throne room.
Talk to Fairy Coordinator.
Use certificate on her.

Go to the Throne Room and talk to the Godfather. He requests that you locate the Queen, but gives you strict orders to return to him when you have located her. The Godfather tells you that you will need to use the fairy rings to locate the Queen. He also tells you to get instruction from the Coordinator on the use of the fairy rings. If you use Fairy Nuff's certificate on the Godfather, he will compliment you on your pretty picture.

The Fairy Coordinator can be found between the area where you teleport into Zanaris and the throne room. She will tell you how busy she is and does not have time to waste. When you ask her about the use of the Fairy Rings, she will tell you how the fairies came to Zanaris and how the Queen created the Fairy Rings. In addition, she provides instruction on how to use the main Fairy Ring (located near the water fountain). Use of the Fairy Ring will be detailed later.

When you use Fairy Nuff's certificate on the Coordinator she tells you that the writing looks familiar but she cannot provide its meaning. The Coordinator suggests that you ask other Fairies about the writing. You do this by using use the certificate on various Fairies.

Step 3
Use certificate on Fairy Cook.
Go to Cosmic altar, read plaque on wall.
Decipher message.
Follow coordinates AIR, DLR, DJQ, AJS to find the Queen.

Find the Fairy Cook (near the Otherworldly Being) and use the certificate on her. She tells you that she remembers seeing writing like that on a stone near the Cosmic Altar.

Go to the Cosmic Altar and make your way to the back wall. Located on the back wall is a plaque. Click on the plaque to read it. The message on the plaque is written in the same language as the message on the back of Fairy Nuff's certificate. The translation of the plaque is "Cosmic Rune Altar." You must now decipher the message on the back of Fairy Nuff's certificate. The translation is "The Godfather attacked us. We have fled to safety. If you are loyal to her majesty, find us by coordinates AIR, DLR, DJQ, AJS."

To use the Fairy Ring, you must have the dramen staff equipped. The fairy ring interface has three dials on it. The first dial allows you to select the letters A, B, C, and D. The second dial allows you to select the letters I, J, K, and L. The third dial allows you to select the letters P, Q, R, and S. There are a total of 64 different combinations to choose from. To get to the queen you must use the coordinates in the order that they are provided in the message written on the back of Fairy Nuff's certificate. Not all of the 64 combinations will take you anywhere.

Go to the main Fairy Ring and use it. Enter coordinates A-I-R. You will be transported to a small island - you can use the Fairy Ring to return. Now enter the coordinates D-L-R into the Fairy Ring and you will be transported to a small island in a swamp. Next enter the coordinates D-J-Q and you will be transported a couple of feet away from where you started, and you make a wise-crack about the power of fairy magic. Head back to the Fairy Ring and enter the coordinates A-J-S. You will now be transported to a new area.

Part 2:
Save the Queen!

Step 4
Talk to Fairy Nuff.
Return to Zanaris (DJQ).
Pickpocket Godfather (ensure Rocco and Slim aren't watching).
Talk to Nuff.
Return to Zanaris (DJQ)

Now that you're in this new area, head to the end of the cavern and you will find yourself in a hospital-like area. Speak to Fairy Nuff who will tell you how happy she is to see you. Split Second's Screenshot of the Sick Queen She will inform you that the Godfather has not returned the Queen's secateurs and that the Queen is dying. Of course, it is "all your fault." Another Fairy pops up and adds her two cents to the conversation. In the end, you agree to return to the Godfather and pick-pocket the Fairy Queen's secateurs from him.

Return to Zanaris using the Fairy Ring and go to the Throne Room. Stand between the Godfather and the throne. Be sure that Fat Rocco and Slim are not facing towards you. Pick-pocket the Godfather and get the Fairy Queen's secateurs. Now head back to the Queen by following the instructions at the end of the previous step.

Speak to Fairy Nuff who takes the Queen's secateurs from you and attempts to heal the Fairy Queen. Unfortunately, this does not work. The Queen's energy has been depleted too much. Since this is apparently all your fault, you must obtain the ingredients to make a Magic Essence Potion. All you need is a water filled vial, a Star Flower, and a Gorak Claw. Nothing could be simpler, right? Return to Zanaris.

Step 5
Go to CKP.
Talk to Cosmic being.
Pick a Starflower.
Return to Zanaris (DJQ).
Go to DIR, kill Gorak for claw.
Return to Zanaris (DJQ).
Make magic essence potion.
Return to Fairy Queen (step 3).

Items needed: Water-Filled Vial, Food, Armour, Weapons, Pestle and Mortar.

To get the star flower, use the Fairy Ring and enter the coordinates CKP. You find yourself in a rather pretty reality. Talk to the Cosmic being about Star Flowers, and she will tell you to look around. Star Flowers will then start to bloom. Simply pick one (at this point, the game will not allow you to pick any more than one). Return to Zanaris.

To obtain the Gorak Claw from the Goraks (Level-145), use the Fairy Ring and enter the coordinates D-I-R. As long as you remain in the middle of the Fairy Ring, they cannot hurt you. If you decide to melee them, equip your weapon and battle to the death. When you've killed a Gorak, collect its Claw, equip the dramen staff and use the Fairy Ring.

Note: The Goraks are very strong monsters. Be sure to have appropriate food on you for this battle. You are not allowed to use Range, Mage or Prayer whilst inside the Fairy Ring.

Make the Magic Essence potion. Use the pestle and mortar on the Gorak claw to make ground gorak claw. Next, use the water filled vial on the Star Flower. Finally, use the unfinished potion on the Ground Gorak Claw. You now have a Magic Essence (3) potion. Now head back to the Fairy Queen using step 3.

Use the Magic Essence potion on the Fairy Queen and she'll spring to life. She then learns of what has happened to her since the "Tanglefoot incident".
