To find the Magic Guild, simply go to Yanille Bank. The guild is directly opposite the bank.
The Magic Guild, affectionately coined the "mage guild", is a sanctum for players with high magic levels. It is ruled over by the Head Wizard Distentor, and contains numerous useful resources for the perceptive sorcerer.

If you climb down the ladder from the ground floor, you will find yourself in a small, dingy basement. You should see six Zombies (Level-24), who will re-spawn faster than you can kill them (at least with magic...), and Wizard Frumscone, who invites you to kill his zombies. The zombies are ideal for the Crumble Undead spell, as they re-spawn quickly, and you can go buy more runes upstairs at the Magic shop.

You enter into an imposing octagonal building, in which you will find stairs leading up to the first floor and a ladder going down to the dungeon. On this floor, you will find Wizard Distentor, who can teleport you to the rune essence. The guild's closeness to the Yanille bank makes this a great place to mine rune essence, but only if you're not using Wizard Mind Bomb to get inside, as this takes up precious space. Two Wizards (Level-9), and Zavistic Rarve - the Grand Secretary for the Wizards' Guild - reside here.

If you climb up the stairs from the ground floor, you will find yourself on the first floor, where there are two Wizards (Level 9), and the Magic Store owner. If you trade with the storeowner, he will sell you most of the runes available and a selection of the finest staves, at good prices.

This floor contains two Wizards (Level-9), and two empty vial spawns. If you click on the magical portals, they can teleport you to:

• East Portal: Wizards' Tower south of Draynor Village.
• West Portal: Thormac the Sorcerer's Tower west of Catherby.
• South Portal: Dark Wizards' Tower north of the Crafting Guild.
