IntroductionGu'Tanoth is a members only town populated by Ogres; you need to have started or completed the Watch Tower Quest to enter. Not many people come to the town aside from the few herbalists who come to buy vials, the few players on a quest and the strong warriors entering the dungeon.

Special Attractions
Rock Cake Stall
You can only steal one of these cakes at a time. The stall gives very little thieving experience and the rock cakes will hurt you for 4 hitpoints if you eat it.
The main attraction of the city aside from the quest that makes you go there is the Gu'Tanoth Dungeon, you will have access to this once you complete the quest and it is a brilliant training spot right beside the Yanille bank! The dungeon features many monsters including:
- Blue Dragons (Level-111)
- Greater Demons (Level-92)
- Ogre Shamans (Level-113)
- Skeletons (Level-22)
- Spider (Level-1)
Once you are done in the dungeon you exit from the opposite end and arrive just outside Yanille.
Miscellaneous Information
Transport
The easiest modes of transport to Gu'Tanoth are the gnome glider to the nearby Feldip Fields, or using the Watchtower teleport, which teleports you to the top of the Watchtower north of west Yanille.

Inhabitants
|
Blue dragon (level-111) Examine: A mother dragon. Notes: A Dragonfire Shield is a must. Whip or Dragon Scimitar along with Dragon Dagger Poison is recommended. If ranging from a safe spot, Magic Short Bow (Steel Arrows+) or Crystal Bow and also 70+ range to train efficiently. Otherwise, you will need a rune crossbow so you can equip an antidragonfire shield. |
|
City guard (level-83) Examine: Tries to keep the peace. Notes: Not a particularly attractive training monster - they don't hit too high, but they're far from a bank, so getting food will eventually be a hassle. Best leave them be. |
|
Enclave guard (level-83) Examine: Big and ugly looking. Notes: Though they don't have drops like normal Ogres, such as those found in King Lathas' training area, they respawn very quickly, are not aggressive, and are easy to collect arrows from. If it's experience you're after, these make an excellent training monster. |
|
Gorad (level-68) Examine: Big, dumb and ugly. Notes: |
|
Greater demon (level-92) Examine: Big, red, and incredibly evil. Notes: Meleeing demons with a Silverlight or Darklight will have the effect of meleeing them with a rune longsword. |
|
Ogre chieftain (level-81) Examine: Tough looking. Notes: Extremely slow respawn, low hitpoints and few drops make this a pretty terrible monster to train on. Try the normal Ogres (level-53) or the Enclave guards (level-83). |
|
Ogre merchant Examine: Funnily enough, doesn't actually buy or sell ogres. Notes: The Local Herbalist of Gu'Tanothh. Shop Owner of Snop Grud's Herblore Stall. |
|
Ogre shaman (level-113) Examine: Seems intelligent... for an ogre. Notes: You must kill these shamans with the 'Magic Ogre Potion' in the Watchtower Quest. |
