A monk's child has had their blanket stolen. Find the thieves' den and return the blanket, then help Brother Omad organise the drinks for the child's birthday party.
Part 1: Retrieving the Blanket
Step 1
Talk to Omad, Monastery south of Ardougne. Find the child's blanket, NW of Monastery.
Items needed: Armour, Weapons, Food, Energy Enhancing Items (Boots of Lightness, etc).
Talk to Omad in the Monastery south of Ardougne and he will tell you he cannot sleep because of the crying child. He will tell you that some thieves have stolen the child's blanket and are hiding in a cave.
Go north-west of the monastery to a ring of stones, just east of the gnome battlefield. The moment you step into the ring of stones, a ladder will appear. Go down it.
Take the first turn south and go in. Go to the table and get the blanket (Picture). Return to Brother Omad. Talk to him and he will thank you for returning the blanket, and tell you that he is sleeping better.
Part 2: Starting the Party
Step 2
Find and help Cedric, just north of the Monastery. Talk to Omad.
Items needed: Jug of Water, Pile of Logs.
Talk to him again, and he will tell you about Brother Cedric not returning with the wine for the child's party. Omad says that Cedric probably got drunk and lost in the forest.
Go north a little from the monastery and find Cedric. He needs a drink of water. Talk to him again to use the jug on Cedric. If you forgot to fill your jug up with water, there is a water fountain next to the Chapel. After giving him a drink of water, he'll ask you to get wood to fix his broken cart. Give him the wood and return to Omad for the final time.
Talk to Omad again and he'll give you the 8 law runes. The party will start, as lots of balloons will appear. Monks sure know how to party!
