| Tactic: | Protect from range prayer is crucial, as Karil has the potential to hit constant 20s on a maxed out character. Magic is strongly recommended for fighting him. Melee could be the second choice, but using ranged on Karil is fairly unsuccessful, due to Karil having a high ranged defense bonus. |
| Notes: | In the barrows mini-game if you don't kill Karil you will not get a Karil piece. This does not include bolt racks, if you don't kill Karil you can still get the racks. |
