The dragon halberd is the elite of the halberd. The halberd appears as a guarding weapon, and is very powerful, however not necessarily used for killing, rather impaling. Jagex has created the ambiance of the old times in these weapons.

Halberds are flag-like in appearance, and are very powerful. All halberds are members only. Members can equip the bronze-rune halberds before completing the Regicide quest.

None of the halberds can be smithed, and you must have the regular, bronze-dragon, attack levels to wield them. Halberds can attack from two to three spaces away, and are very effective for training on monsters that are too big to fit around pillars, such as black demons, greater demons, fire giants, black dragons, etc.

Type of Weapon: long range melee

• Can attack through fences, over benches, tables, chairs, cages.
• Requirements: Must have completed the Regicide quest, 60+ Attack.
• Attack Bonus: Stab: +70, Slash: +95, Crush: +0, Magic: -4
• Defence Bonus: Stab: -1, Slash: +4, Crush: +5, Magic: +0, Range: +0

The dragon halberd hits on average every 4.5 seconds.
To wield this powerful weapon, you must have completed the Regicide quest.
With its special attack, it can attack a monster twice in a turn, with great force.
However, it will only hit twice if the monster takes up more than one game-square.
It also will attack more then one monsters or players if you use the special
(be careful you might get skulled in the wilderness.)The great thing about this special
attack, is it doesn't lower any stats.

There is one store in the game that stocks most of the halberds. It's the Quartermaster's Store in the Tyras camp in Tirannwn. The price of each individual halberd is listed below:

There is one final place that stocks halberds, you must complete the Wanted! quest to use it. To buy this halberd from Sir Vyvin in the White Knight's Castle, you have to have attained the Master rank and pay around 2k gold for it. You can also buy it off of players without being a Master.
