A dangerous exiled criminal called Solus has returned once more to threaten the civilized lands of RuneScape. The White Knights responsible for dealing with this threat don't seem capable of meeting the challenge... perhaps some adventurer can succeed where they have failed?

Use all of your tracking skills, and a little Temple Knight technology, to track him down and bring this criminal to justice once and for all!

Part 1:
Joining the White Knights.

Step 1
Talk to Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park.
Talk to Sir Amik Varze in the White Knight's Castle.

Teleport to Falador and talk to Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park. You will ask to become a Temple Knight, but he will say that you need to be a Squire for 5 years. However, there is a loop-hole to become a White Knight quickly.

Make your way to the White Knights' Castle, and up the stairs in the western room. Go up to the third floor, and you will find Sir Amik Varze just to the south. Speak to him, and you'll ask him to become a White Knight. However, Sir Amik says that you have to spend 5 years as his Squire. Choose the option "no, not right now" and you will decline (Picture).

You will then talk about how a stranger other than Sir Tiffy knows a faster way to become a White Knight, and that it is possible to bypass the 5 year wait. You will then ask to become a Deputy of the White Knights. Amik Varze says that you were a perfect candidate, but he cannot deputize you unless there is a crisis. All is well, at present.

Step 2
Return to Sir Tiffy.
Return to Sir Amik.

Go back and Speak to Sir Tiffy again. You will ask him to arrange a crisis (Picture). However, there is already a crisis. Sir Tiffy tells you about a vicious and dangerous criminal. Zybez RuneScape Help's Screenshot Of A Criminal At Loose Go back to Sir Amik and talk to him, and he will be glad you arrived on time. A scout of the White Knights has uncovered information about the evil Solus Dellagar, and that he has returned to Asgarnia (Picture). Sir Amik warns you of the dangerous magical power in Solus' possession, of which the White Knights are vulnerable to. Sir Amik begs for your help, and you will ask to become a Deputy. He will make you one, immediately.

Part 2:
Beginning the Hunt.

Step 3
Talk to Sir Tiffy.
Recieve Communication Orb.
Contact Savant.

Items needed: Slayer Gem, Law Rune and Molten Glass or 10,000GP instead of all three.

Go talk to Sir Tiffy and he will warn you yet again about how dangerous Solus is. He also warns you that under no circumstance must you engage him in combat. You now act as an Agent of the Temple Knights and must attempt to track him down (Picture).

Sir Tiffy says you need to equip yourself for the Task, and he will provide you with what you need in return for money or the items needed to make it. Pay him, or give him the items, and he will give you a Communication Orb, allowing you to keep in touch with the Temple Knights.

Right Click on the Orb and talk to Savant about your current assignment. She will then tell you about two recordings from two people who were most likely to know about Solus and his whereabouts. The two people are Lord Daquarius, who is in his little Taverley Dungeon hideout, and the second is a Mage of Zamorak, who is in a temple in south-east Varrock. If you have never before spoken to the Mage of Zamorak, he will instead be located in the Wilderness, north of Edgeville.

Step 4
Interrogate Lord Daquarius in the Taverley Dungeon.
Talk to the Mage of Zamorak in Varrock.

Items needed: Varrock Teleport Runes, Equipment to Kill a Black Knight (Level-33), 20 Un-Noted Rune Essence.

Use the Agility shortcut next to Falador west bank to get to Taverley Dungeon quickly. It is by far the fastest possible way to get to the Dungeon. If you don't have 5 Agility, you can Teleport to Burthorpe using a Games necklace and head south. Once in the dungeon, go through it passing the Poison Scorpions (Level-20), then south to the Hill Giants; pass them to get to the Black Knights Hideout.

You will see Lord Daquarius in the south-western-most room. Talk to him, and ask about Solus Dellagar. He will refuse to give any information. Kill a Black Knight (Level-33), and talk to him again. He will tell you about Solus leaving behind a piece of fur, which is your first clue. However, he won't tell you anything else.

Savant tells you that must talk to the Mage of Zamorak in Varrock. Teleport to Varrock, pick up 20 un-noted rune essence from the back, then go to the altar in the southeast section and talk to the Mage about Solus Dellagar. He will give you information in return for some rune essence. Give him the essence, and he will tell you that Solus has gone East.

Note: If you do not see him in Varrock, you must talk to him in the level 5-7 wilderness north of Edgeville; he will then tell you to meet him back in Varrock.

In a brief conversation with Savant, she'll say she is totally stumped. You, on the other hand put the clues together and suggest that Solus is in Canifis, hiding among the Werewolves.

Step 5
Travel to Canafis.
Follow Solus Dellagar.

Items needed: Ectophial (optional), Various Teleport Runes, Glory Amulet(4) (optional).

If you have an Ectophial, use it to get to Canifis, teleporting and heading west. If not, head east to the Temple on the River Salve and go through the dungeon. As you approach the city, Savant will begin a low level scan for Solus. Savant would then tell you about a new teleportation method which the Temple Knights had been researching, which is known as "slow-teleportation". It allows a person to be invisible. The research was abandoned, as it was too dangerous to carry on. Savant suspects that Solus was using this same teleportation method to pass unnoticed.

Head to the center of Canifis and use the orb to scan the area just north of the inn. Solus appears, and starts to get annoyed at you. He teleports away, but leaves a clue behind that Savant picks up in the slow teleport realm. Savant will give you the clues as you go from place to place. From this point on to Part 3, everything is random. Each Player has a Random trail of clues, and those clues lead to the location where you should scan next. Following is where to search for each clue. You will receive 5 of these 17 in random order.

Pastel Yellow Wizards Hat - Near the throne room on the ground-level of The Grand Tree, in the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
Blue Cape - Champions' Guild.
Fake Beard - Ali Morrisane's Stall.
Greenman's Ale - The Pub in Yanille.
Fremennik cloak - Rellekka.
Unholy Symbol - Scorpius' Shrine, North of the Observatory.
Castle Wars Ticket - Castle Wars Arena.
Frog Legs - Lumbridge Caves, near the Giant Frogs.

Eye Patch - Pirate's Pub (the one with the Pirate's in it), Brimhaven.
Banana - Banana plantation on N. Karamja.
Goblin Mail - Goblin Village, north of Falador.
Bone Spear - Dorgeshuun mines. Go to the very end.
Red vine worm - McGrubor's woods, which is located west of Seers' Village.
Blue Wizards Hat - Wizard's Tower south of Draynor Village.
Earmuffs - Canifis Slayer Tower, near the Banshees.
Gray Toy Horse - Draynor Marketplace in Draynor Village.
Cake - Food stall in the Ardougne Marketplace.
White hat - Bottom floor of the Gnome Stronghold.

Part 3:
Finish Solus Dellagar

Step 6
Travel to a Rune Essence mine.
Defeat Solus Dellagar.
Talk to Sir Amik.

Items needed: Food for Lower Levels, Equipment to defeat Solus Dellagar.

As soon as you solve the last clue, Savant will be able to pinpoint Solus Dellagar's final Location: the Rune Essence mines. Head to any of the Teleportation spots and teleport to the Rune Essence mines. You will see Solus Dellagar there. More Temple Knights arrive in order to help defeat Solus, but he is too powerful.

Solus can hit high with magic, so be cautious. Ranging can be an effective way to kill him without taking any damage. He will be an easy kill for most levels.

Once Solus kills all the Temple Knights, attack him. When he dies, you will get his hat as a proof that you killed him, and you will be taken outside the rune essence. Savant will praise you on your excellent work. Teleport to Falador and talk to Sir Amik Varze and show him the hat. He will reward you for your services.
