| Tactic: | Hellhounds are great traing for Magic, Melee, and Range. Their prime location for killing Hellhounds is Taverly Dungeon, which hosts plenty of stalagmites and rocks to use as safe spots. When using melee wear rune armour or better whilst using an Abyssal whip or Dragon scimitar. Guthan's armour is also reccomended for melee so that you regenerate health whilst fighting. When using ranged wear the best dragonhide armour for your level and wield the best bow you can: Yew shortbow, Magic shortbow, etc. and use Iron arrows or better making sure to stand behind the rocks to range the Hellhounds. |
| Notes: | Hellhounds only drop Bones and Clue scroll (level-3) being so it is ideal to stay and farm for Clue scrolls. |
