The Lumbridge caves are a dark and potentially dangerous labyrinth of tunnels. The Tears of Guthix mini-game can be accessed upon completion of the Tears of Guthix quest, and can be found at the back of this dungeon. While you are in these caves, you must always have a light source, or else you will be attacked by a number of bugs, very quickly. Also depending on the form of light source you use, you may or may not need to bring a tinderbox to re-ignite it. Make sure that you do NOT use a light source with a naked flame, or it will explode! To the far east, you can find a series of caves belonging to the Dorgeshuun goblins. There are many iron and silver ores to mine down there.

There are many low level slayer monsters in this dungeon including cave bugs, cave crawlers and wall beasts. To avoid having the wall beasts constantly attcking you, wear a spiny helmet.
